With only a few days left before the NBA Trade deadline, the New York Knicks have been actively pushing for a deal that would bring Tracy McGrady to the Big Apple. On the day of the NBA All-Star Game, there were talks between Knicks President Donnie Walsh and Rockets GM Daryl More. McGrady's agent, Arn Tellem, was also involved in the talks between both sides.
The Knicks and Rockets are hoping to be able to get a deal done without the addition of a third team in the mix. But without a helping hand from another team, things will be difficult for the Knicks. The Knicks may not have the right tools to make the deal.
McGrady's 23 million dollar contract will be hard to eat up with out dealing Al Harrington, Larry Hughes, Darko Milicic, or the long gone Cutino Mobley. Adding Mobley to the deal ...
