The Celtics were pegged to be one of the top three teams in the East before this season started. After struggling a bit in the firs half of the season, questions have been raised about the age of the Big Three in Boston.
Kevin Garnett is basically playing on one leg looks like he has trouble jumping at times. Garnett came to the NBA from high school in 1995 and has been run ragged by Minnesota and Boston since. Few players in the league have logged the mileage of KG by age 33.
Paul Pierce seems to still have the spark, but the clock is ticking. Since he joined the team in 1998, Pierse has pretty much been the man for the Celtics. At age 32, his dominant days may be a thing of the past.
