Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets are reportedly talking about a contract extension. Carmelo is an upcoming free agent in 2011. Melo has made the Nuggets into one of the best teams in the NBA. I believe Denver should be playing in the NBA Finals right now as they have the talent with Billups and Nene. Carmelo in my opinion is a top 5 player in the NBA and Denver has made him even better. If Melo doesn't sign a contract extension with Denver, I expect him to re-sign when he goes into free agency next year. The contract extension is three years long, the money is not known yet.
