From 2000-2009, basketball had its ups and downs.á Downs: The Ron Artest fight The Tim Donaghy betting scandalá The Kobe Bryant rape caseá The decline of superstars like Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady* The Greg Oden injuriesá The AAU drama queens (Carmelo Anthony, O.J Mayo, Renardo Sidney ...the list goes on) The Kwame Brown s and Darko s (Speaking of Darko, he just left the NBA. Could it be a good sign for this decade?) *Although I am a huge Iverson supporter, I am also sad about McGrady's decline. His 13 points in 35 seconds was classic. I expected much more from T-Mac. In fact, it was so classic that it deserves to be on this post.
