The Detroit Free Press is reporting that a press conference will happen either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, at which Michigan State's Tom Izzo will announce that he has turned down the Cleveland Cavaliers' offer to make him their head coach. Fans in Chicago and New York should be thrilled. Izzo was the clear favorite for the job in Cleveland, with both the MSU diploma on the wall in the owner's office in Cleveland and after receiving a relative vote of confidence from LeBron James.
