Firstly, you can look at statistics and awards, which are easy to look at, but in reality this isnÆt the best method for determining how great a player is. á
The best example for why this method isnÆt the best is because of players like Allen Iverson, who have had great career statistics, but ultimately did not make their teams better for most of their careers and sometimes even made them worse.á
This can also work the opposite way if you look at a player like Chauncey Billups, who doesn't have as great stats as some players, but has more of an impact on his team than many of those other players.
