Last night against the Warriors, Brandon Roy reached another milestone in his young, phenomenal career—he finally beat the Warriors in Oracle Arena.
The Portland Trail Blazers came into Oakland, California having not won there since 2004. On the back of Brandon Roy, who had 24 first half points and 41 overall, the Blazers finally beat the Golden State Warriors in Oakland: 110 to 105.
By no means pretty (16 turnovers) or efficient (shooting 41.9 as a team), the Blazers managed to pull off another much needed win over a sub-.500 team, keeping their playoff hope alive.
The Blazers are now .5 games behind San Antonio Spurs for the 7th seed in the West.
