The man blamed for the New York Knicks roster mess, Isiah Thomas, returns tomorrow to the local area with feeling good about himself. Not because of his team's (Florida International) chances against Monmouth. He feels good because the team that ran him out are actually doing worse without him.
In an interview with NY Daily News college hoops writer Dick Weiss the other day, Thomas exonerated himself from his failures byá mentioning how his predecessors couldn't lead the Knicks to a championship.
Thomas was fired by James Dolan, andá Donnie Walsh and Mike D'Antoni replaced the former Pistons point guard with the hopes that they would lead the organization out of this mess, but so far, nothing has worked since the team is playing awful early in the season.
