The Cavaliers front office has been cleared out. Both head coach Mike Brown and GM Danny Ferry are gone; no replacements have been named. Could this all be in attempt to keep LeBron James on the team, or is this simply for the betterment of the team overall?
It is no secret that James and Brown didn’t always see eye to eye. While Majority Owner Dan Gilbert has said that it was simply time for the Cavaliers to head in a new direction, it is quite obvious that Brown was let go because he not only failed to bring a championship to Cleveland this year, but also as an attempt to appease James and convince the star player to stay.
Neither Brown nor Ferry has been replaced yet, nor have replacements been named for either man.
