Today was the first day of the Winter Meetings held in Indianapolis. The Yankees were already making headlines from the meeting.
First, they sent away inconsistent reliever Brian Bruney to the Washington Nationals for a player to be named later.
Not the most shocking news as Bruney was hardly used in October and November. In Washington, he'll probably be used more.
But the big news came during the night time, a possible three-way deal that could be in the works between the Yankees, Tigers and Diamondbacks.
According to FOX Sport's Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi, the deal could look something like this:
The Yankees would get center fielder Curtis Granderson.
The Diamondbacks would get pitchers Edwin Jackson and Ian Kennedy.
The Tigers would get pitchers Max Scherzer, Phil Coke, Michael D ...
