The streaking Minnesota Twins find themselves battling in the only legitimate divisional race yet to be decided with a little over a week remaining in the season.
With a three-game sweep over the Chicago White Sox, the Twins have gained nothing in the race with the Detroit Tigers. They find themselves three games back in the loss column with 10 games remaining in the regular season.
Scoring 23 runs over the three-game set with Chicago was key for the Twins, as their starting pitching struggled ever so slightly, with their two rookie starters failing to earn quality starts the past two games.
