Get ready for things to turn around Mets Fans! The chosen one, Ike Davis, will finally be rejoining the Mets tonight when they take on the Chicago Cubs, tonight at 7:10 p.m. at Citi Field. So...what should we expect from Davis’ promotion? Well, clearly the Mets will respond to Davis’ presence in the dugout, and score 14 runs on 22 hits to topple the lowly Cubs. This God of everything baseball will surely deliver the Mets from the evils of last place in the N.L. East and propel them to the top of the division, and the top of the baseball world! Yes! In case you were wondering, there is a slight undertone of sarcasm in this post… I agree with most Mets fans that Davis—along with Chris Carter—earned a shot in the bigs this year by outplaying Fernando Tatis ...
