Via Peter Abraham, we’ve learned that Juan Miranda will be joining the Yankees in Seattle tonight. His season with Scranton ended last night when they lost 3-2 in 12 innings to the Durham Bulls in the International League Championship.
Miranda played in five games for the Bombers last year, amassing 14 plate appearances. He collected four hits, one of them a double, drove in one run, walked twice, and struck out four times. His line was .400/.500/.500.
For Scranton this year, Juan hit .290 with a .369 on-base percentage and a .4988 slugging percentage. He added 19 homers and 82 runs batted in.
