á According to multipleásources, the Washington Nationals have hired former Atlanta Braves scouting director Roy Clark as assistant general manager, with his duties to be varied and wide-ranging.á Clark worked for Atlanta for 20 years in their scouring and development department. According to the Atlanta Constitution-Journalástory, Clark will oversee the Nationals player development and all scouting functions, including international scouting, an area of particular weakness in the Nats organization.
