The Kansas City Royalsáhave agreedáto trade Mark Teahen (OF/3B) to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for third baseman Josh Fields and second baseman Chris Getz, according to the New York Daily News .á
As ESPN indicates, the deal is far from finalized. As of this morning, Getz told a local radio station that he was not aware of the trade.
When asked, the White Sox front office refused to comment on the story.á
If the deal does go through,áit is speculated that Teahenáwill replace Jermaine Dye. However, Teahen,áwho hitá12 home runs with a .271 average, 50 RBI, and eight stolen bases last season, is versatile.á
