Atlanta Braves ace Jair Jurrjens came to camp early and will leave just as early.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Æs Dave OÆBrien, Jurrjens has left camp and will undergo an MRI on his pitching shoulder after complaining of mild soreness on Monday.
This is kind of like entering the Royal Rumble at No. 1 and being eliminated before No. 3 comes out. Thanks for playing.
I donÆt want to jump to conclusions, but if anything were to happen to Jurrjens for an extended period of time, it would be a big blow to the Braves. After having a Cy Young-caliber year last year, Jurrjens is expected to lead the Braves' deep starting rotation in 2010.
