Many times, the low man on the totem pole does not get recognition for the job he does for an organization. Giants batting coach Hensley "Bam-Bam" Meulens is that man in their organization this spring. The Giants are leading both leagues in wins with 17.
They have upped their batting averages, total bases, slugging percentages, RBIs, and runs over last year's spring season results. There has to be a reason for this great turnaround. "Bam-Bam," on his own, took off to see players this past fall and talk with them about their hitting techniques and told them what the Giants organization was expecting from their play in 2010.
