After the hot stove with all things related to Curtis Granderson was reaching a boiling point, a blockbuster move has finally been reached.
Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated reports that Curtis Granderson will be heading to New York. He will be donning the pinstripes in a gigantic deal between the Tigers, Yankees, and the Diamondbacks.
The Yankees receive only center fielder Granderson in this deal, while they are moving their top outfield prospect Austin Jackson to the Tigers along with left-handed reliever Phil Coke. They are also moving 25-year-old starting pitcher Ian Kennedy to the D-backs.
