The hug from Chipper Jones after Heyward's first major league home run in his first at bat was priceless.
Jason Heyward has had more hype around him than any Atlanta baseball player since Jones, and as the hall-of-fame third basemen closes his career, the young right fielder will step in to attempt to replace him. This will be one of the more memorable debuts the league sees in a long time, and Heyward has no better mentor than Chipper Jones.
Heyward came up in a clutch spot, with the game tied and two men on, in his first major league at bat. With all of the hype surrounding Heyward and the current situation he was hitting in, you would think a 20-year-old would feel the pressure.
