As fans of the NFL, we know what it is like to feel a burning ire for another person simply because his team of choice does not match our own.
When a dyed-in-the-wool fan of one team encounters opposing teams' supporters, love for his own overcomes common sense and produces emotions of extreme intensity. It's part of what makes this game so amazing and keeps us coming back year after year.

DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart: Who Should Be Drafted First?
Posted: 6th July 2010 by Ryan Lester in NFL
There aren’t many running back by commitee approaches that work as well for fantasy owners as they do for the actual NFL teams, but the Carolina Panthers one-two punch of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart is the exception.
In 2008 they combined for 2,351 yards and 28 touchdowns (Williams: 1,515 and 18, Stewart: 836 and 10). Last year they combined for 2,250 yards and 17 scores (Stewart: 1,133 and 10, Williams ...

The video game franchise Madden NFL Football is one of the biggest and most well-known video game titles ever produced.
Selling millions and millions of copies over the last two decades, football fans go nuts for the game.

Just when it seemed that the NFL may be ready to hand JaMarcus Russell a second chance, the opportunity was squandered.
The former NFL Draft No. 1 pick was arrested Monday in Mobile, Ala., for drug possession. Russell had a codeine syrup that was not prescribed. The arrest was made as part of an ongoing investigation.
The Jets, Vikings, Bengals, and Saints had all been rumored to be interested in bringing in ...
The Bears' tight ends aren't being talked about enough, because they are going to be an important part of the new Bears offense not only for catching passes but for blocking as well. In fact, as history has shown us, new offensive coordinator Mike Martz likes to use his tight ends to block much more than he likes to use them to catch passes.
Does this spell the end of pass ...

Posted: 6th July 2010 by Tom Delamater in NFL
Jake Delhomme joined the Cleveland Browns in March as the presumed starter going into the 2010 NFL season.
The Browns have been down this path before, signing such veterans as Trent Dilfer and Jeff Garcia during the forgettable 11 years since their return to the league in 1999.
The knock on Delhomme is that his elbow injury in 2007 signaled the end of the road for him as an effective starter, ...

Posted: 6th July 2010 by Robert Quinn in NFL
JaMarcus Russell, recently released by the Oakland Raiders after being selected No. 1 overall out of Louisiana State, has just made a bad offseason even worse after being arrested for possession of a controlled substance. That substance is supposedly liquid codeine, or "Purple Drank," which is a mixture of the codeine, promethazyne, Sprite, and Jolly Ranchers.
Green Bay Packers DT Johnny Jolly is also facing charges on the same offense. ESPN's ...

Should Kevin Kolb Be Considered a Fantasy Football QB1?
Posted: 6th July 2010 by Eric Stashin in NFL
The Eagles decided that Kevin Kolb was the future of the franchise at quarterback, so they were willing to deal Donovan McNabb in the division and hand over the keys to the castle. The question is, can Kolb manufacture similar, if not better, statistics?
Kolb appeared in five games in 2010, starting two. He was electric in those two starts:
Week Two vs. NO - 31-51, 391 yards, 2 TD, 3 ...
