When NFL owners voted on Tuesday to hold the 2014 Super Bowl in East Rutherford, N.J., it signaled a climatic paradigm shift for the sport’s biggest game.
It also signaled stupidity.
By and large, it appears that the decision is being met favorably.
“Football is a game of the elements,” the large number of proponents say. “It is just going to make the experience more memorable!”
I get it. Some of the league’s trademark ...

Fantasy Football: Get Your Running Backs While They’re Hot (AFC East)

The full-fledged "feature" starting running back is dying in the NFL.
Whether it's injuries or wear-and-tear, teams are finding it much easier to just pair two solid running backs together and split the weathering load, rather than appease fantasy football nerds everywhere and give the rock to one guy all day .

After all, Spears may not even start this season. ...

Considering the state of the Cleveland Browns offense last year, Mohamed Massqauoi had a very successful rookie season. Mohamed had 34 catches for 624 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Browns' receivers.
Massaquoi averaged 18.4 yards per catch and was often the only Browns vertical threat. Pittsburgh's Mike Wallace, also a rookie, led the league with 19.6, but had a much better quarterback playing catch with him.
Massaquoi compiled that average ...
