Posted: 8th June 2010 by kevin roberts in NFL
Ray Rice impressed some folks in his rookie season two years ago, putting up solid numbers and displaying amazing speed and quickness.
There was only one problem. Despite gaining over 700 total yards on just 140 touches, Rice failed to get into the end zone.
As he took over the feature back role in Baltimore, this problem started to go away. However, when Rice ended the season with eight scores on ...

Whatever Peyton Manning wants, he should get.
He has certainly done everything to earn it.
This isn't a fan article, melting over a local hero. This isn't a beat reporter fawning over a quarterback who finally answered one of his questions. This isn't a national columnist who texts daily with NFL superstars—blurring the line of journalistic integrity.
This is a frank look from an unbiased observer who appreciates good quarterbacking.
Not to mention patience...

The Detroit Lions Are Better in 2010, At Least According To Madden 2011

Who here is an avid Madden NFL video game fan?
A lot of people are guilty of being an annual buyer of EA Sports mega popular video game, including me. But one thing that frustrates me is when people talk about a player being good in real life, because of his rating in Madden.
I have to say that I am a typically critical of the guys over at EA when it ...
The Browns finished on a high note winning their last four games of 2009. Jerome Harrison ran hog wild (561 yards and 5 TDs in the last three games). They brought in a trio of QBs (Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace, and Colt McCoy) and Mike Holmgren as team president, but they still have a long way to go both in reality and in fantasyland.

DeSean Jackson, along with cornerback Asante Samuel, missed OTAs today, and according to sources close to the team, no one is expecting them to participate at all this week. The news isn't all that surprising for Samuel given the fact that he skipped an entire week of voluntary workouts last season as well. He's cited as having "personal issues" to deal with, but who knows whether or not that's ...

Is Ryan Matthews the next Ladainian Tomlinson?
AJ Smith, Dean Spanos and Norv Turner seem to think so.
Was he worth the no.12 overall pick in the 2010 draft?
Smith, Spanos, and Turner think so as well. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided its about time to put these two guys to comparison, and what I found out is " Yes" they are pretty identical.
It got a little tricky. For ...
