My response :
1. Brett Favre: Even though I assume he’s going to be back, there is a small chance that he finally hangs it up for good. Even if he comes back, he set his bar so ...
Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts: March 27, 2010
Posted: 28th March 2010 by Ryan Lester in NBA
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the boxscore last night:
Nick Young, Washington Wizards Nick had 16 points against the Jazz. He’s averaging 13.8 in his last five games, hitting double-figures in all but one of them.
Terrence Williams, New Jersey Nets T-Will had 16 points against the Bulls. He can score on occasion, but his field goal percentage will kill you.
Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls ...
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Ryan Anderson, Orlando Magic Anderson had a strong showing against the Wolves with 19 points and 9 rebounds. It was a nice effort, but he shouldn’t be counted on in the fantasy playoffs.
Jrue Holiday, Philadelphia 76ers Holiday continues to shine. He had 13 points, 12 assists, and 7 steals against the Hawks.
DeMar DeRozan, ...

This Week’s Topic
How are your fantasy teams doing this year? What has been your best move? Biggest mistake?
My Response
I am in two leagues. Fortunately, I made the playoffs in both. One of them is a keeper league and the other is an annual league. I’ll start ...
They say where there’s smoke, there’s a fire, and I think Smokey the Bear was awakened from his hibernation for this one.
When the Eagles will settle for a top 42 pick for Donovan McNabb, it may be too difficult for a team to resist.
I’ll assume that he won’t net the Eagles a first-round pick, mainly because of his age and contract demands. You’re looking at picks 33-42.
33. St. Louis Rams

Fantasy Baseball 2010: Buster Posey Tops Sleeper and Value Catchers List
Posted: 26th March 2010 by Ryan Lester in MLB
BUSTER POSEY, SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
Posey has the tools, but it’s a matter of opportunity.
He did struggle with his brief taste of the bigs last year going 2-for-17 (.118). He did however, go a combined 137-for-422 (.325) for A+ San Jose and Triple-A Fresno last year.
He added 84 runs, 18 HRs, 80 RBI, and 6 SBs.
Bengie Molina has a hold on the starting catcher gig, but he turns 36 in June, ...
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
James Singleton, Washington Wizards
Singleton certainly opened some eyes with his 19 point, 21 rebound performance against the Pacers. He’s averaging 12.8 rebounds in his last four games, including 16 and a pair of seven rebound games. He’s worth a risk in daily leagues if you’re looking for boards.
Josh McRoberts, Indiana Pacers
McRoberts also played well in ...
Fantasy Baseball: 10 Relievers Who Will Likely Come Back To Earth
Posted: 25th March 2010 by Ryan Lester in MLB
Here’s a look at some relief pitchers who could take a step back in 2010.
David Aardsma, Seattle Mariners Aardsma was brilliant last year, racking up 38 saves with a 2.52 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. Seattle was his fifth team in five seasons. He pretty much struggled every other year. I want to see another good year out of him before I’ll say he’s turned the corner.
Kevin Gregg, Toronto ...
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
JaVale McGee, Washington Wizards McGee had a double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds) and a pair of blocks. He’s very inconsistent, though, and not really a player I’d be counting on in the fantasy playoffs.
Brandon Rush, Indiana Pacers Rush had 20 points against the Pistons. He’s averaging 15.8 points and 3.0 three-pointers over ...
Fantasy Baseball Back to Earth Players: Starting Pitchers
Posted: 24th March 2010 by Ryan Lester in MLB
These starting pitchers could have a hard time matching their 2009 production.
Joe Blanton, Philadelphia Phillies Blanton’s numbers are misleading. He had a solid ERA of 4.05, but gave up 30 HRs. If he’s giving up that many long balls, his peripherals will likely rise. Also, his strikeout total of 163 isn’t on par with he he’s done for the rest of his career.
Jair Jurrjens, Atlanta Braves ...
