According to some pundits, the 49ers are going to draft Anthony Davis OT out of Rutgers with their first round pick at 13. I think this is a huge mistake. There is already rumors of lack of drive and attitude issues. Using a No. 1 pick on someone that already has these kind of questions is very risky.

What is going on in 49er land?
Weeks away from the most important draft in recent years, with the team on the cusp of ending its playoff drought, the GM is stepping down.
The Santa Rosa Press Democrat is reporting that Scot McCloughan is considering stepping down and that his business records have been relocated from his office.
There is only a couple of reasons that I could think of that would cause this ...
Surprised? Most would be.
Looking at multiple mock drafts from the major sports outlets, you tend to think that the 49ers would be best served to draft one lineman and a combination of WR/RB/S/CB/QB/OLB/DT.
They might be right. But I think the key is who is available when pick 17 rolls around. If one of the big tackles or guards are still there, my guess is that they will draft them.
