Canucks Still Undefeated In Preseason, But Just Barely

Interesting line combinations last night for the game against the Flames. The Twins with Burrows, Wellwood between Parrish and Raymond, Hodgson, Bernier, Garbner, and Rypien centering Glass and Labrie. As coach Vigneault said, "All the prospects would get an opportunity to play some of the five games in the next seven nights," as the clock ticks down to crunch time.

Yes that’s you Canuck ownership and management. Guess what, there is interest in the preseason games and surely you can afford to spend some of the profit you are making off us fans, on at least some live or even delayed, internet streaming of the games. I mean, if that’s would you advertise on your site, then provide it, but don’t say “it’s not available in your area”.

That’s Hockeyville, as in Terrace, BC, where a full house (1,000) of eager and boisterous fans (mostly kids), got to see some of their Canuck heroes play a pre-season game against the NY Islanders last night.
There was not a whole lot to write about as far as the game goes since only a few regulars on either team were on the ice. Did I mention that Mitchell and Bieksa were there, but did not suit up? ...
So, here we are at Day One of training camp at the new Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre (which seats 7,200 and will be one of the ice hockey venues for the Olympics in 2010).
