According to the likes of ESPN and TSN, the Chicago Blackhawks are nearing extensions with Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, and Duncan Keith but today on ESPN I read something that I couldn't believe.
Since I am an ESPN Insider I am able to browse all the ESPN rumors and Insider articles, but in the rumor section this morning I read that Blackhawks should consider moving Marian Hossa.

Great news after the Chicago Blackhawks practice on Wednesday as Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, and Ben Eager all practiced.
Coach Joel Quenneville stated after practice that Eager and Toews are close to returning, if not days away from returning to the Blackhawks lineup and that we will know more after the morning skate tomorrow.

According to Matthew Barry, Los Angeles Kings blogger for Hockey Buzz, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings are discussing a trade that would send Kings' forward Alexander Frolov to the Blackhawks.
Going to the Kings would be forward Kris Versteeg and defenseman Cam Barker.
The "hang up" in the deal, according to Barry, is that the Blackhawks want a young defenseman from the Kings along with Frolov.

When Tomas Kopecky signed with the Chicago Blackhawks on July 1st many fans wrote it off as a depth signing and the Blackhawks only gaining another fourth line forward.
