So the Jason Taylor saga is finally over.
Taylor has finally decided to sign with the New York Jets, a team which he has hated throughout his 13 seasons in the NFL, to prolong his career and guarantee the chance to play football next year.
The truth is, however you look at it, Jason Taylor was forced to sign with the Jets by Miami's indifference towards him.
And the legendary number 99 deserved ...

Having already witnessed the New York Jets make several high profile additions, those associated with Buffalo must have sat quietly in a darkened room as news broke about Brandon Marshall's blockbuster trade to the Miami Dolphins last week.
The Dolphins and Jets have made some big moves in this year's free-agency period to launch a full-scale assault on the AFC East. And they have left Buffalo in their wake.
As if to make things even worse, the other team in ...

Brandon Marshall is about to be traded to the Miami Dolphins, solving the receiving problems that have blighted Miami over the past few seasons.
The Dolphins will give up their second round picks in this year, and next year's draft in exchange for the enigmatic receiver.

Following the prediction that Miami will use their first round pick on Sergio Kindle, second-rounder on Arrelious Benn, and third round pick on Major Wright, it is now time to explore the possibilities that the Dolphins have when making their late round draft choices.
Miami will be hoping for an extra pick somewhere in the draft from the Justin Smiley trade, and that will likely be in the fourth round. However, as of yet there has ...
The New York Jets have again made a big trade. Last night, they gave up a fifth-round pick at this year's NFL Draft to sign Santonio Holmes from the Pittsburgh Steelers. With another big-name acquisition this off-season, the Jets aggressive offseason policy has put them in a strong position to become Superbowl Contenders.
Last year, the Jets made the AFC Conference Final.
They made it to the playoffs thanks to the Colts and ...

Posted: 31st March 2010 by Luke Taylor in NFL
Dez Bryant entered his private workout yesterday hoping to convince NFL teams around the league that he should be their pick.
However, Bryant seems to have left teams with more questions than answers following the workout in his hometown of Lufkin, Texas.
Bryant didn't take part in last month's NFL Scouting Combine due to a hamstring injury, so this was a great opportunity for him to boost his draft stock and rise up ...
Having been to all three NFL regular season games played at Wembley, and with tickets to the fourth, I can say I have personally experienced the love that the UK has for the NFL.
The NFL's popularity over here in England must be at an all-time high, and most fans can't wait for the 49ers to entertain the Broncos here in London again.
However, more and more we hear the argument for ...
Wide Receiver Is Miami Dolphins’ Most Glaring Offensive Need
Posted: 24th March 2010 by Luke Taylor in NFL
The Miami Dolphins’ defense needs to be addressed. There are several positions of need, and it's probable that Bill Parcells and Tony Sparano will use their first-round draft pick, and most mid-round picks, on defensive players. However, Miami's offense still needs some major improvements—most notably in the area of wide receiver.
The Dolphins move the ball on the ground effectively, but the NFL is becoming more of a passing league, ...

Miami Dolphins' offseason shake up will continue in the coming days, as the Florida outfit will attempt to trade guard Justin Smiley.
Bill Parcells contacted Smiley to tell him the team's decision, although the offensive lineman made it clear that he wished to stay in Miami.
Regardless, Smiley was told to he need not report to Miami's training camp next week, and that the Dolphins would actively pursue trading him over the coming days.

Incognito Must Play by Definition and “Not Reveal True Identity”
Posted: 17th March 2010 by Luke Taylor in NFL
Last year, Richie Incognito himself conceded he has a reputation for being "a less than model citizen."
Having twice committed more than one personal foul, Incognito was benched by the St. Louis Rams, before subsequently being released.
To add to his list of undesirable actions, he has criticized his own team's fanbase while in St. Louis, made an obscene gesture at a TV cameraman, and encouraged hecklers following a loss.
Yet ...
