2011 NFL Mock Draft: It Is Never Too Soon to Look Ahead!
Posted: 30th March 2010 by Kevin Hatfield in NFL
I know this is an absolute ridiculous scenario, but there is a reason Bleacherreport is one of the best sports web sites in the U.S.
In this mock draft, I have come up with potential picks for next years NFL Draft.
I have used this year's draft order and factored in the trades the draft pick trades that will effect teams next year.
So please do not comment on the draft order, saying ...
Major Offseason Additions
The Jaguars signed Defensive End/Outside Linebacker hybrid Aaron Kampman to a four-year deal. They were one of the worst teams in the league last year pressuring the quarterback.
John Henderson led the team with three sacks, and he is a defensive tackle. Kampman should help the rush a lot, and hopefully he will transition back to a true 4-3 end.
Kassim Osgood was also signed by the Jags. Osgood has ...
2010 NFL Mock Draft: How Tim Tebow Will be a First Round Pick
Posted: 23rd March 2010 by Kevin Hatfield in NFL
The rumors of Tim Tebow range from him going in the first round, to falling to the fourth round.
To me, both scenarios are ridiculous.
Tebow should be a solid second or third round pick. He could provide a spark on offense for certain, established teams, and he could potentially become a starter under the right coach.
However, this article is about how Tebow will go in the first round.
There ...

Maurkice Pouncey, Guard/Center from the University of Florida.
This would be an easy selection for the Dallas Cowboys.
Pouncey would be able to step in instantly as a multi-purpose backup at guard and center, and he may even compete at left guard against Kyle Kosier.
The Dallas Cowboys have not had the best luck with drafting offensive lineman in the past 19 years. Since 1991 only two of their 11 offensive linemen picks ...

I wrote another big board earlier this year pre-combine, and wow has it changed!
Stocks have risen even more after strong performances from players like Sean Weatherspoon and Eric Berry at the NFL Combine.
However, Jermaine Gresham and Anthony Davis did not fare as well.
Here is the updated 2010 NFL Draft Big Board.
No. 1: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Suh was actually No. 2 on my list last time, but after reviewing more of ...
2010 NFL Mock Draft: Pittsburgh Steelers Pick By Pick
Posted: 10th March 2010 by Kevin Hatfield in NFL
The Pittsburgh Steelers have done a great job so far this offseason by filling in some need holes. Bringing back Ryan Clark was a huge decision, and he has proven himself to be a very good safety paired with Troy Polamalu.
The Steelers then went out and signed safety Will Allen and receivers Antwaan Randle El and Arnaz Battle. These moves filled in some needed reserve positions.
These great signings will surely ...

The NFL Scouting Combine came and went just as fast as always.
As usual, some players worked their way up the draft board with good 40 times, strong bench presses, and positive interviews.
But of course no one was perfect.
Teams will now be evaluating this event and looking to see who looked the best and who will be the best.
These five prospects are the players who took advantage of the NFL Combine ...
NFL Combine Results 2010: Tuesday’s Top Five Performers
Posted: 2nd March 2010 by Kevin Hatfield in NFL
The last day of the NFL combine came and went with a bang.
With Deion Sanders in the crowd, every player was looking to impress Mr. Primetime with a good time in the 40.
However, not every player was up for the challenge.
Where the defensive backs did impress, however, was in the bench press. Many sub-200 pound corner backs were able to lift more than the 300 plus pound defensive tackles.
Monday proved, ...
NFL Combine 2010 Results: Five Top Performers of Monday

Monday came and went with similar results of the other days.
Simply summed up: This is one of the deepest drafts of all time.
Many players thought to be late round picks have elevated their status's after out performing some of the "big guys".
While performing well at the combine does not mean you will be a good NFL player; it does elevate player's draft stocks.
This is why scouts and writers end up ...
