I know, I know. It's a crazy headline. Chicago Cubs fans everywhere are rejoicing! The fact is that the latest scourge on their beloved franchise is about to be no more. Problem is Bradley, prior to the '09 season, signed a nice fat $30 millionácontract to play for Chicago.
With two years, and $20 million left on the deal why would the Braves want the outspoken, classless journeyman on their team?

According to a report on ESPN.com the Marlins are in discussion with Bobby Valentine about a position with the team. The possibility seems to be good that the position is at manager.
This is extremely surprising news considering Gonzalez just signed a two-year extension last season and was named Manager of the Year in 2008.

If you watched the Braves vs. Marlins on Wednesday all the way through, you saw the season in a nutshell.
Braves' ace, Javier Vazquez lost to the Marlins for the third time this season. The Marlins were the only club to beat him more than once.

This is not to take away from the current surge that the Braves are experiencing. It's exciting to be at least mentioned in a playoff race in September.
