If there is one member of the 2010 rookie class that seems destined for stardom, it's Atlanta Braves rookie right fielder, Jason Heyward. In fact, stardom may be setting the bar too low for the ultra-talented 20-year-old Georgian.
Heyward will be given every opportunity to become the every day starter for the Braves this spring. The team made their intentions known when they traded former hometown hero, Jeff Francoeur in July, ...
No player on the Brewers roster faces more uncertainty in 2010 than Mat Gamel.
Over the winter, Gamel's name came up in the following scenarios: replacing Corey Hart in right field, becoming the new first baseman if Prince Fielder was traded, playing third base full-time, splitting time at third with Casey McGehee, being a bench player, or being traded away to acquire a starting pitcher.
The future of the one-time top prospect ...

Should the Kansas City Royals Give Consideration to Trading Zack Greinke?

Zack Greinke's win of the 2009 Cy Young Award should be considered one of the best accomplishments in recent baseball history.
The Kansas City Royals weren't a bad team in 2009, they were awful. Greinke's dominance on a 97-loss team speaks to his greatness.
The Royals are in the very competitive but winnable AL Central. Any great team needs an "ace" of the pitching staff to always depend on, but the Royals ...

When the Brewers traded JJ Hardy for Carlos Gomez, they sealed their fate as to how they will acquire starting pitching this winter.
Other than John Lackey, the free agent class for pitchers is rather underwhelming, but Brewers' GM Doug Melvin is determined to find two starters on the market.
The Brewers still have players they could trade for pitching, most notably Mat Gamel. Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi report that ...

While Jennings is earning all the headlines, another Bucks' ...
Tim Lincecum has taken the baseball world by storm over the past two-and-a-half seasons. Depending on who you ask, he is at or near the top when asked to name the best pitchers in the game.
Lincecum won the Cy Young Award in 2008, and he put himself in a position to win another in 2009 with an even better year. Regardless of the outcome of this year's ballot, he will ...
