Little did they know, they were in for quite a treat.

Losing Henry: Chad Ochocinco Drops Pride, Cries; Bengals Season Rolls On
Posted: 19th December 2009 by Denton Ramsey in NFL
ItÆs times like these when people realize that life is about a lot more than what occurs in sports.
Granted, Chris Henry had his share of issues off the field of play, but his passing is still a tragic event and has shaken the Cincinnati Bengals football team to the very core.
When you have obvious egocentric guys like Chad Ochocinco on your team, and even he is drying tears from his ...
Friday Night Fights: Rockets Outlast Mavericks; Cuban Needs To Zip It
Posted: 19th December 2009 by Denton Ramsey in NBA
Mark Cuban needs to shut up and quit complaining.
The Houston Rockets beat the Dallas Mavericks in overtime on Friday night at American Airlines Center, and with a flurry of emotions erupting throughout the game on both sides, Cuban (as per usual) had to have the final word.
Look, Cuban, just because your damn All-Star took a bloody arm to the locker room doesnÆt mean the Rockets or officials cheated to get ...

I Didn’t Even Attend UT, But I Vividly Remember Vince Young’s Title Run
Posted: 12th December 2009 by Denton Ramsey in NFL
Call me crazy, but I love watching Vince Young when heÆs at his best.
Unfortunately, I got my first true glimpse of that (as far as Young at the NFL level) when he pretty much single-handily took control of the game to lead his Tennessee Titans to a victory over the Houston Texans.
Damn it, Vince; why did you have to ruin HoustonÆs season? I understand the Texans passed you up back ...

With all the Tiger Woods gossip and bashing going on, the sports world has put smaller issues such as the Tracy McGrady situation on the backburner.
Thank goodness for that.
But the latest news coming out of the Houston Rockets camp is that everyone, including head coach Rick Adelman, general manager Daryl Morey, and T-Mac himself, is on the same page.
Although McGrady’s return date is still up in the air, the seven-time ...
