One of my most fervent convictions this season has been that SF Nicolas Batum deserves to start every single game over Martel Webster.
Not only should Batum start, he should be playing at least 20 minutes a game and be present on the court during crunch time and overtime.
Although Webster played a phenomenal January and certainly has the potential to rack up points, Batum has been consistently one of the best, ...
There would be no late game let down against Memphis tonight. After seeing Portland blow a lead against Memphis back on January 5, tonight was a different story. They hung on with defense and heart to force Memphis even further back in the playoff hunt.
Brandon Roy led the way with his scrappy play, and Nicolas Batum helped shut the door, as Portland came on strong in the third quarter and ...

In honor of the Academy Awards on Sunday, I decided to take a look at the 10 movies up for Best Picture this year and give them a Portland Trail Blazer twist. I haven't had a chance to do a good movie poster photoshop post since last summer, so I had to take advantage of this Oscar time opportunity. Take a look...

TWolves Blog writer Dave Kelsey was kind enough to answer some of my questions in preparation for tonight's GAME OF THE DECADE going down between Portland and Minnesota at the Target Center. Derrick Rose has been tremendous in his sophomore season for the Bulls. He began the season a little slow, but in the last three months, he's been amazing. Averaging around 21 pts, 6 asts, and 4 rbs, he has a lot to do with where the Bulls are at in the standings.
Andre Miller has also been stellar lately. He's fitting in and putting up ...
Sometimes a win is just a stepping stone to regaining confidence.
Tonight Portland had to win a road game in New Jersey just to stop the bleeding. Not to say that last weekend's losses were completely devastating, but lately every Blazer loss has taken on a life of its own.
The city is living and dying by the team right now, and with just 23 games left, a win to start ...
The Portland Trail Blazers welcomed the second-best road team in the NBA to the Rose Garden Friday night for a fun and polite, recreational style, basketball contest between gentlemen.
I guess the Boston Celtics didn't get the memo, coming into the Rose Garden and absolutely dominating the Trail Blazers in almost every category, racing out to an early lead and never looking back.
Leading by as many as 22 points, the Celtics ...
