Yes, Chris Dudley is thinking of running for Governor. I'll just cut to it:
But he is seriously looking at running for governor, to the point that I'm told that he is inclined to get into the race.á He's reportedly long been interested in public service. He's a Yale graduate and his grandfather once served as the ambassador to Finland.
Awesome? The article goes on to say that Dudley would bring "a ...
Trail Blazer president Larry Miller just finished up an interview on Courtside tonight and had a few updates for Blazer fans. No, it did not include a deal getting done with LaMarcus Aldridge, nor did it include a game distribution agreement with Comcast, Dish Network, and DIRECTV.
But it did include this committment: All games on KGW will be streaming live online and Comcast games should be streaming by the end ...
Tonight the Blazers finally take on a new foe, one that will present bigger and better players for Greg Oden to test his game against. It seems like the perfect game to have on TV, number one pick Blake Griffin making his debut for the new look Clippers. Greg Oden trying to prove himself to the world. But once again, despite the half hearted explanations, this game will not be ...

The preseason can be a very mundane experience for a person whose last game was a playoff atmosphere, but tonight was full of interesting observations.
Tonight was my first look at the new and improved Oden, Andre Miller, Rudy, Martell, rotations, general offensive and defensive philosophy with different personnel (wasn't able to attend Fan Fest), and the referees, among other things.
I sat back tonight and was less of a fan ...
Tonight, the Blazers finally get a chance to show the world what all the buzz has been about this offseason. Oh wait, that's right, the only people who get to see anything this preseason are those in attendance at the Rose Garden. How are these games not televised? Isn't it 2009?
Since I don't have gobs of cash to throw at preseason games, I'll be stuck at home watching nothing. Unless ...
Our embedded Finnish consultant H.T. Hippo left the sauna long enough to send in a Petteri Koponen update. The news is better this time. (Unrelated: Does that picture of Claver up there look like a mixture of Jay Mohr, Eric Stoltz in Mask, and me? Am I the only one that is thinking this? If not, that could mean that I slightly resemble Jay Mohr. Terrifying.)

What exactly is this novelty ...
Tonight was the kickoff of the 2009-2010 season for Blazer fans with the annual Trail Blazer Fan Fest.
It's a great opportunity for fans, that aren't rolling in cash, to attend a little scrimmage and hang out session for the team. I think it's an important event put on by the organization.
We got to fan fest around 3:30 p.m. and it was already buzzing with people. Thanks to Schonely's place, we ...

The NBA offseason is coming to a close and anticipation around Rip City has never been so intense. The team took a huge leap forward last year and now it's time to become contenders. Pieces have been brought in to compliment the current group. Andre Miller and Juwan Howard are fresh faces with tons of NBA experience. Brandon Roy is getting plenty of recognition and just recently signed a max ...

A New Challenge
September 30, 2009
My second NBA season has arrived, after the European Championship in Poland, a gold medal, and a great summer. It is a challenge that I'm excited to take on. My first year in the league was good, but it wasn't easy. They say the second year is even harder because the other teams and rival players know your game. But I'm ...
