Parenteau, who celebrated his 27th birthday this past Wednesday, has already played 14 games on Broadway this season and has notched one goal and three assists.
In 35 games with the Wolf Pack this season, he has posted 20 goals and 25 assists.
Eriksson, 35, has made ...
Earlier this season, John Tortorella had a run-in with NY Post writer Larry Brooks, seen here, and last night Torts had another run-in—this time with Journal News writer Rick Carpiniello after Carp questioned his overtime strategy.
This entire ordeal started on March 8 after the Rangers had lost two-out-of-three games in overtime and on his blog Carpiniello suggested that Tortorella was being too passive with the Rangers during overtime. He recommended ...

The Rangers won an exciting game last night. With the game tied, Chris Drury scored with just 17 seconds remaining and beat the Devils 4-3 in a shootout.
Here are the updated standings
7. Philadelphia – 80 points – Eight games remaining 8. Boston – 78 points – Nine games remaining 9. Atlanta – 76 points – Eight games remaining 10. Rangers – 75 points – Eight games remaining 11. Tampa Bay ...
To me, this thing is still a gimmick, but from what it sounds like, a few athletes who were on hand were impressed after they watched last night’s Rangers/Islanders game in 3-D.
I wonder if they still would have liked it if the Rangers were on the wrong end of the 5-0 romp. Then again, they can actually afford the TV’s and probably don’t actually care if the Rangers won or ...

New York Rangers Trade Rumors: Wade Redden for Sale
Posted: 24th March 2010 by Broadway Hockey Daily in NHL
Well, it looks like we have an answer for the question I asked earlier this morning: What are the Rangers going to do with Wade Redden?
The answer? They’re going to sell him on Amazon.com. The price seems pretty cheap too.
Product Description
An NHL defenseman...well, kind of. He was pretty darn good the last time we scouted him, which was in 2001. Brings every ounce of the mental and ...

March 23, 2010 -- Wish This Were True: Rumor Says Sather Retiring ...
One of the more serious mistakes Glen Sather has made in recent years has been to sign Wade Redden. It’s not that Redden is an especially bad player, although he certainly has not lived up to expectations, but it’s his six-year, $39 million contract that hits their salary cap hard, makes him almost impossible to trade, and is really an albatross.
Going forward, Redden, because of that contract, is not going ...
