Chris Drury of the New York Rangers Nominated for Masterton Trophy

According to Andrew Gross of the Bergin Record , Rangers captain Chris Drury has been nominated for The Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the player who “best exemplifies dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship to hockey.”
The award has been given out since in 1968, and the Rangers have had four winners: Jean Ratelle in 1971, Rod Gilbert in 1976, Anders Hedberg in 1985, and Adam Graves in 2001.

The Rangers were briefly tied for eighth place yesterday until the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Detroit Red Wings, 4-3, pulling two points ahead of the Blueshirts.
The Rangers now have just four games left, they play back-to-back nights starting tomorrow against the Sabres and then again Wednesday against the Maple Leafs. They close out the season with two games against the Flyers.
