TheáfinaláMLB Standings for 2009 along with the 2009 opening day payroll. I also added the average attendance for teams across MLB. The top payroll teams are in 1st place and in charge of the divisions. The only division undecided after 162 games is the American League Central with Minnesota and Detroit in a one game play off for the title and playoff berth.

Jeffrey Loria, the owner of the Marlins, seems to be upset that his team did not make the 2009 postseason. He is so mad he may even fire manager Fredi Gonzalez in the upcoming weeks.
