All along, an irritated—and irritable—Dany Heatley believed he merited more accountability and, in due course, a large chunk of ice time with it. More, anyway, than what Ottawa Senators head coach Cory Clouston was willing to offer. Like a child deprived of their favourite toy, Heatley has spurned, squirmed and turned through his quarrel with Ottawa management and challenged Phoenix Coyotes for off-season headlines.
