I confess I'm a Washington Capitals fan, and I have been for quite some time. I could spout off my credentials by talking about some of my favorite Caps from the past, but let's face it, in this day of Google searching anyone can make that claim. You'll just have to take my word for it. Lately, though, there has been an influx of people wearing Caps jerseys in D.C. This isn't really a bad thing; as a Caps fan I like seeing this once small fanbase grow. However, there has been a downside. Washington D.C. is full of bandwagon jumpers. This city is (and probably always will be) the Redskins' city. However, in lean times other teams have stolen fans.
