In Week Three against the New York Giants, Byron Leftwich played like JaMarcus Russell of the Oakland Raiders (7-16 for 22 yards, no TDs and one interception). That is not a good thing, in case you don't pay attention to the performance of the Raiders. Leftwich was finally pulled and benched and in came second-year QB Josh Johnson. During Johnson's first few plays, the announcers said that Johnson has a quick release whereas Leftwich has a big windup. Johnson finished with 36 yards going 4-10.
