Brad Childress keeps reiterating the fact that he's giving legendary quarterback Brett Favre all the time in the world he needs to make a decision on his playing future.
That is, if it takes until the draft, that's great. If it takes until the second preseason game, who cares? The Vikings will still let him play.
Joe Montana came out a week ago and stated that Favre has probably already made up his mind, but won't "decide" until after training camp because he doesn't want to go through the long, tiring offseason workout.
I don't think it's a matter of if, but rather a matter of when Favre will come back to play the game his heart desires. He will in all likelihood be playing again for the Minnesota Vikings in 2010.
