The need is there from when Casey Wiegmann went back to the Kansas City Chiefs after his one year stint; it would be a fairly seamless transition from Wiegmann (36), to Mawae, (39). Despite being 39 Mawae can still perform at a pro bowl level, once a team can get past his age, they will find themselves landing a good bridge option for their younger players. The Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, and Tennessee Titans are other rumored suitors Schefter points out.
