Werth homer, four hits, and was removed from the game after Howard hit a liner off his back.
“He’s going to be sore,” Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. “I asked if he had Bud’s signature on there. They said, just seams.”
Marte seemed fine to the Yankee coaches after the game and was even seen doing exercises in front of reporters. He’s certainly going to have a bruise on his back and might not make his next scheduled appearance tomorrow, ...
