Geno Atkins has had the best day at the combine today so far. He surprised everyone by arriving to the combine with about 10 extra pounds of muscle added to his already big frameùhis official weight is 293 lbs. Clearly this added weight is functional because come bench press time, Atkins was one of the stars. He put up the 225 pounds over and over again, until his total was 34. This number has put him in the top five so far for defensive linemen, and is much better than Gerald McCoyù23ùand Ndamukong Suhù32. But Atkins was just getting started today. He then proceeded to run his 40 time in an unofficial 4.75 secondsùnot bad for a 6'1", 293 pound defensive tackle.
