At the 2010 NFL Combine, which takes place this weekend in Indianapolis, the country's top collegiate prospects will be tested in a number of physical challenges: how fast they can run, how high they jump, and how much weight they can lift.
But one test will require the athlete's brain, not braun. The Wonderlic test has been used by NFL player personnel for over 30 years, in an effort to determine the capacity for learning each prospect has.
From Vince Young's famous total score of six, which put him in the "fit for unskilled labor" labor category, to Harvard graduate and current Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's perfect score of 50, which put him in the "superior intelligence" bracket, NFL hopefuls have truly run the gamut of intelligence.
