The chances of trading up to get a pick in the first two roundsáare slim to none seeing as the Bears don't have much to offer these days. And, even if they did trade away a player worthy of a first- or second-round draft pick, chances are it would hurt the team more than it would help.
So why not draft a player who was looked at as an "elite" player (by some)áhad he gone into the 2009 draft pool.
Black is big. He is 6'5", 330 lbs. His strengths are his overall strength, technique, and experience. Those are all things the Bears offensive tackles lack right now.ááEspecially when we are talking about technique.
