The 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship got under way today in Saskatchewan where four Devils prospects hope to lead their respective countries to a gold medal.á In group A, Patrice Cormier (captain of team Canada) and Adam Henrique notched four points and one point respectively in Canada's 16-0 drubbing of Latvia.á Meanwhile in group B, Jacob Josefson joined Mattias Tedenby who scored a goal in Sweden's 10-1 win over the Czech Republic.
If the last two years are any indication, there's a good chance Sweden and Canada could meet in the final for the third consecutive year so the tournament should be a great chance to get a look at a few of the Devils' most promising young prospects.á
It's probably worth noting that we shouldn't get too carried away with Cormier's four ...
