Okay, okay, it's getting ridiculous, it's the daily "Derrick" update. Who's signing Derrick Brooks now? Two days ago it was Chicago. This summer it was New Orleans. Today, it's the Patriots! The Brady Bunch. Belichick's Boys. Get Derrick some lobstah and chowdah! Please. The more pressing question is: Does Derrick Brooks really want to play this season? He's said he does, with one caveat—he's not interested in veteran minimum. That's what older guys get—veteran minimum. The latest report comes from Ian Rapoport of The Boston Herald.
