I recently completed a community mock draft on a local website. The premis was that one person would take each team and make the pick that most made sense from their perspective. Each person tried to follow what they thought the franchise would do.
The complete mock can be found here: http://forum.nfluk.com/showthread.php?t=63574 along with every GM's reasons for their pick. I was the Philadelphia Eagles GM.

Posted: 27th March 2010 by Buy The Clippers in NBA
Leave it to the Clippers.
An L.A. based team with a history of losing and botched draft picks have fired their woeful NBA blue-blooded G.M. only to replace him with a never-made-it actor who’s greatest achievement was reading for a background role on “All My Children.”
Yes Clippers fans, your team is now in the hands of Neil Olshey, a onetime aspiring actor who moved from New York to L.A. to ...

Donovan McNabb Makes the Oakland Raiders Instant Contenders

"Could it be?"
Last night, I heard the news inside my car. Not only did the Oakland Raiders make an offer for the six-time NFC Pro Bowl Quarterback, they were willing to make it work. They went as far as to make a deal without an extension.
Looking back on the 2009 season, the Raiders' 5-11 record could have been better with some leadership from the quarterback position. They were able to ...
Oakland Raiders: Is There a Coaching Calamity Causing a Trail Of Tears?
Posted: 27th March 2010 by Damali Binta Yael in NFL
The "blame game" is going strong in the Raider Nation.
We want to blame somebody for our "trail of tears" during these seven years of Oakland Raiders' history.
Yes, I am using the phrase that is historically connected to the displacement of some native Americans who ended up in other locations in early American history. A part of my family has a heritage of the "trail of tears," since many of them ...

Last season the New York Mets were the favorite of many to take the National League. This year, not so much.
The Mets are definitely capable of having a huge season, but why should we believe that this is the year that they live up to the potential that has surrounded them so long?
A lot has changed for the boys from Flushing, New York in the space of a year.

Mike Babcock: The NHL’s Best Coach is Having His Greatest Season Ever
Posted: 27th March 2010 by Greg Eno in NHL
You can never tell if the great hockey coach is winning or losing.
When he stands behind the bench, he always looks as if he’s trying to remember if he left the stove on—while also having to go to the bathroom.
His team could be ahead by three goals or down by two. You'd never know.
If he didn’t make a mint in hockey, Scotty Bowman could have fleeced all comers in a ...
Rumors of the 49ers' front-office shuffle have been greatly exaggerated.
San Francisco Chronicle and San Jose Mercury News columnists obviously didn't get the memo from the visiting Chester Pitts, who said, "Everybody has things that go on in their lives. In football, there are plenty of people who will step in and fill that role." Merc columnist Tim Kawakami led off the Scot McCloughan stories with this headline: "Latest crisis ...
All indications are that Manny Harris will forgo his senior year of basketball at Michigan to enter the NBA draft. He told the Michigan Daily that he will make his final decision known on Monday.
The rumor mill is saying that he is gone and probably has already told Coach Beilein. From what I have read, Manny is not a first round selection and should keep the door open to ...
Cristobal Huet, Chicago Blackhawks Have Been at Their Worst vs. Columbus
Posted: 27th March 2010 by TAB BAMFORD in NHL
On Thursday night, the Blackhawks got blown out in Columbus by a Blue Jackets team that sits at the bottom of the Central Division. On paper, the Jackets are terrible. Against the Blackhawks this year, not so much.
For a team that’s been offensively challenged all year, Columbus has given the Blackhawks fits.
On Dec. 1, the Blackhawks needed 11 rounds of a shootout to finally defeat the Jackets 4-3. In that ...
