Posted: 19th February 2010 by Phil Shore in NFL
This past season the Patriots did not perform to fansÆexpectations. Fans are yearning for the earlier years in the decade when New England won three Super Bowls in four years.
By remembering those magical teams, some prominent names long gone are thought of once more. One of those players is open to a reunion.

Tonight’s Game Will Tell Us How Far They Will Go: Blazers Vs. Celtics
Posted: 19th February 2010 by Ryan Virgin in NBA
Brandon Roy is questionable, Marcus Camby will play in his first game as a Blazer, and all of Rip City is holding their breath.
For what reason, you say?
Brandon Roy, on paper, is just the leading scorer of a team once devastated by injuries. On the court he is the emotional leader for the team and city, a role that cannot be more important to the success of this particular franchise.
Tonight ...

Knowing GM Ken Williams as most fans do by now, he doesn't always make it easy to be a White Sox fan, but he does make it interesting. Another one of these moments could be happening as we speak. Within the past two days, MLB.com has reported that the White Sox could be the leaders for acquiring the services of Johnny Damon.
The leadoff hitter/left fielder was reportedly asking for $10+ ...

For the past 137 days, 20 hours, and 32 minutes I have been waiting for exactly this moment. The 2009 offseason is now officially over. We can stop thinking about a lost season where the Diamondbacks lost 97 games.
We can forget about all the shattered expectations. We can put behind us the injuries to Conor Jackson and Brandon Webb. We can erase the memories of Chris ...
Winter Olympics: Marleau And Heatley Are Bringing Me Some Optimism
Posted: 19th February 2010 by Harrison Oztemel in NHL
After watching the better part of Team Canada's first two games at the 2010 Winter Olympics, I, as a avid Sharks fan, have noticed the strong play of the "Sharks line". á
It goes without saying that a line that has played together for the past four months or so would initially be more dominant than a freshly strung together combination, but regardless, people are noticing this Sharks line.
From a statistical ...
Someone once said that, "those who can not learn from history are doomed to repeat it".
I guess that statement can be a matter of perspective depending on whom it's applied to and what part of history is being repeated.
Al Davis has seen this statement come to pass as the Raiders have revisited the mid 90's. During those dark times the Raiders were plagued with underachieving players and coaches that were ...

''Oh no." Why is Cromartieágiving up so much space? Why isn'táheáplaying tighter coverage? Does he know where the first down marker is?
Oh no, the quarterback is looking over that direction. Here comes the ball. It's a bullet.á Cromartie is breaking on it; can he intercept it, or at leastábat it down? Sixty-five thousand people ...

The Cleveland Cavaliers made a move to improve their team. According to ESPN.com , this move has upset the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.
After attempting to bring in AmarÆe Stoudemire, the Cavs worked out a three-team trade to land (former) Washington Wizard Antwan Jamison. Cleveland also picked up Sebastian Telfair (Clippers), who has not played since mid-January due to injury.á
