Each One, Reach One, Teach One of the Retired Oakland Raiders

Prologue
This article is Part Two of an earlier article on retired Oakland Raiders. It was published in June 2009.
I believe that the re-publication of this article may help to raise the level of awareness of an issue that is a silent crisis in the NFL, and particularly with some of the senior Oakland Raiders.

Unrestricted Free Agents the Seattle Seahawks Might Pick Up
Posted: 20th February 2010 by Bubba Gill in NFL
Well let's start off by saying the UFA (unrestricted free agent) class this year isn't bad, due to the collective bargaining agreement, it should be better.
Remember with UFA's, we don't have to trade anyone our draft picks, just our cash.
Now down to business. I looked over all the UFA's this year and well there are only a few on offense even mentioning that could bolster the Hawks offense.
I saw nothing ...
Washington Wizards Trade Familiarity for Their Future
Posted: 20th February 2010 by Matthew Brown in NBA
Andray Blatche is the longest tenured member of the Washington Wizards. Let that fact sink in.
The trade deadline marked the end of an era for the Wizards. Gone are the Verizon Center staples of Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler, and Brendan Haywood, with Gilbert Arenas' future up in the air.
And not a moment too soon.
The Wizards were being billed as the surprise team in the East before the season started. Arenas ...
Every off-season, NFL scouts are all over the country finding new talent, and watching old talent. They are looking for that diamond in the rough, the guy that they can draft in the 6th round and turn into a star. Some teams reach for players, while other teams pass on players that seem to be too talented to drop, and for unknown reasons. Most notably, in the 2003 NFL Draft ...

Friday's game between Germany and Finland featured two goalies making their Olympic debuts.á However, it was clear which one had over 200 games played in the NHL and which one had three.
In a match up that looked more like a power-play clinic than an Olympic contest, Finland cruised to a 5-0 win over a hard-working but offensively impotent German squad.

Posted: 20th February 2010 by Christopher Murphy in MLB
110 years, nine playoff appearances, seven American League pennants, three World Series titles all wrapped into five performances.
The games are different, the stadiums are different, the uniforms are different, but the performances remain impressive.
These are the performances that, although may not have always brought a winner to the city of Chicago and, in one case, is a reminder of a black day for baseball, raised eyebrows.
It is ...

Seattle Seahawks Already Have Their Franchise QB: Matt Hasselbeck
Posted: 20th February 2010 by Chris Cluff in NFL
This offseason, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady are all expected to receive lucrative contract extensions.
The deals of all three franchise quarterbacks expire in the next year or two, so it makes perfect sense for their teams to lock them up with new deals.
There has been no chatter, however, about an extension for Matt Hasselbeck. Of course, thatÆs not surprising, considering the poor performance of the Seahawks over the ...

Years of frustration have plagued fans of the Florida Panthers. This frustration has been taken out on ownership, coaches, players, and even goalies. Over the past decade, Panther fans have made sure that nobody is immune from the blame game, and in a situation like this, fans have a right to be critical of their team.
The only player that has consistently shown that he deserves respect is Tomas Vokoun. Most ...
